Spend New Year’s Eve in Galway at The Hardiman on Eyre Square in the heart of the city centre. Galway does not usually hold an official New Year’s Eve firework display. The city celebrates with live music, street entertainment, and a free family countdown event in the grounds of St Nicholas Collegiate Church before the pubs and music venues take over for the night.
