Key Responsibilities:

Food and Beverage Supervisor

We are currently seeking an experienced hospitality professional to join the team as a F&B Supervisor and continue the longstanding tradition of the highest customer care, attention and service at The Hardiman. We require a talented Food & Beverage Supervisor to help lead our team to deliver excellent service to our guests. This will include supervising all areas of the restaurant including ensuring set up for service, meeting & greeting guests and ensuring the efficient and smooth running of service.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Restaurant Supervisor in Ireland
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, creative problem solving skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
- Experience of working in a busy environment and working to tight deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team to meet immovable deadlines
- Excellent organisational skills/time management attention to detail and excellent written communication skills
- Experience of producing and manipulating reports
- A flexible approach to work and openness to assisting the operation from time to time.
- Experience in a wide variety of office applications/software package
- Fluency in English plus one other European language would be advantageous.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts across breakfast, lunch & evening service, over a 7 day period.
Key Accountabilities:
- To ensure appropriate levels of customer care is delivered at all times
- To promote good team relations in the departments ensuring fairness and consistency in dealing with all team members
- To hold team briefings in department to ensure effective communication
- To ensure a high level of hygiene throughout the department at all times, with a strict cleaning schedule in operation
- To liaise with the Kitchen, Bar and Restaurant to ensure efficient food and beverage operation
- To ensure the team is courteous to all guests and that all guests and complaints/comments are handled immediately

Head Chef
We are currently seeking an exceptional Head Chef to lead and inspire the culinary team and continue the longstanding tradition of the highest customer care, attention and service.
Key Responsibilities
Culinary Leadership and Creativity
- Has a vision for the future of their department and team which is in line with company ethos and corporate goals – regularly meets with/communicates with team members as well as Senior Management in order to identify ways of improving the service and product standards offered.
- Develop and create menus that reflect the hotel’s brand and guest experiences.
- Cerate and introduce creative concepts that elevate the dining experience.
Team Development and Management
- Implements effective communications within the department in order to ensure better understanding achieve results and maintain motivation.
- Demonstrates the ability to communicate openly and effectively with peers, colleagues and subordinates, both verbally and through written medium

- Monitor systems for inventory control, waste reduction, and sustainability.
Guest Experience
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences and ensure exceptional dining experiences.
- Maintain high standards of presentation, flavour, and service constituency in every dish.
Collaboration with Management
- Work closely with the General Manager and senior and Food & Beverage team to align culinary operations with the hotel’s overall vision and goals.
- Participate in marketing efforts, including menu promotions, special events, and collaborations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar leadership role in a four-star or higher hospitality environment.
- Strong background in leading multiple kitchen operations, including fine dining, casual dining, and banquet services.
- Expertise in menu creation, food costing, and kitchen management.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams.
- A track record of fostering innovation and adapting to industry trends.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Commitment to sustainability and best practices in food production.

This role is responsible for ensuring an exceptional guest experience by building meaningful relationships with regular and VIP guests and developing unique, memorable experiences for them.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional guest service throughout their stay, anticipating any needs
- Oversee and assist front desk duties as required to ensure a seamless guest experience
- VIP guest liaison, creating strong relationships with repeat guests, special occasion guests and high-end groups
- Liaise with all HODs and hotel teams on special guest requirements
- Develop unique and memorable guest experiences tailored to special occasions and guest requests
- Address guest concerns and feedback promptly, collaborating with relevant departments to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction
- Duty Management shifts, focused on working with VIPs
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of local area, making recommendations that will enhance the guest’s stay
The ideal candidate:
- Minimum of two years’ experience as Guest Relations / Front Office Manager of a 4/5 star luxury property
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with regular guests
- Excellent communication skills, with a calm and positive attitude when dealing with challenging situations
- Proven ability to develop unique and memorable guest experiences
- Ability to adapt to change, manage pressure, and work independently or within a team
- Mature and pleasant manner for dealing with customers and team members alike
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential, additional languages an advantage
- Experience with Opera PMS an advantage
