Private Dining at The Gaslight Brasserie

Located overlooking Eyre Square, Gaslight Brasserie offers a distinctive private dining experience in the heart of Galway. The space combines classic elegance with city-centre energy, featuring high ceilings, striking Victorian bay windows, and views across one of Galway’s most iconic locations.

Capacity & Layout

The private dining room comfortably accommodates a minimum of  40 to 100 guests, making it ideal for corporate dinners, group celebrations, and incentive events. Smaller groups can also be catered for, with a room hire fee applicable.

Dining Experience

Menus are designed to deliver a premium brasserie experience, with pricing typically starting from €55 per person. Higher-end menu options, including dishes such as fillet steak, are available for more elevated dining occasions. Linen is provided for higher-tier menu selections, enhancing the overall presentation.

Facilities

Guests benefit from a dedicated private bar and cloakroom facilities, ensuring a seamless and comfortable event experience from arrival through to departure.

Entertainment

Due to the nature of the space, amplified entertainment such as bands or DJs is not permitted. However, the room is well suited to background music or a single acoustic performer, maintaining an intimate and refined atmosphere.

Q: What is the maximum and minimum number of guests?

A: 40 min to 100 pax.

Q: Is there a minimum spend or hire fee?

A: Minimum €3.5k

Q: How long do we have the space for?

A: 16pm to 23pm

Q:Can the space be held provisionally?

A: Yes for two weeks then a deposit due to secure the space

 

Food & Drink

Q: What menu options are available (set menu, à la carte, sharing)?

A: Depending on the numbers, Group menus up to 50 pax with choice 3 starters, 3 mains & 3 desserts, higher numbers would work better on a reduced set menu.

Q: Can menus be customised?

A: Yes.

Q: Do you cater for dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, allergies)?

A: Yes

Q: Is there a children’s menu available?

A: Yes €20

Q: Can we arrange wine pairings or drinks packages?

A: Yes house wine €17pp which includes 2 glasses per person, also can offer drinks reception on arrival in Gaslight Brasserie or Parlour Lounge depending on final number.

Q: Can we bring our own cake or wine (and is there a corkage fee)?

A: Cake is fine. We do not offer corkage.

A: 48 hours prior to the event.

Q: Can the bill be split or paid individually?

A: There is a public carpark to the rear of the hotel (first come basis) and also Q Park.

Q: What time can guests arrive? Depending on time booked for event.

A: Can we extend the booking if the event runs longer? Yes, (just no loud music)
