A short break in Galway shouldn’t mean a long walk from your room to everything worth seeing. Our over 65s offers include dinner each evening, full Irish breakfast every morning, and a tea, coffee and homemade scones waiting when you arrive.

The Hardiman sits on Eyre Square, with the train and bus station directly behind us, so you can walk in off the platform. Choose two nights or three, dine with us each evening in The Oyster Room, and let our team look after the rest.

What’s included in the over 65’s offer?

Both packages include your room, a freshly cooked full Irish breakfast each morning and dinner each evening. On arrival you’ll be served complimentary tea or coffee with a homemade scone. Valet parking is available on request for an additional charge. The two-night package covers two dinners and two breakfasts; the three-night package covers three of each.

Is there parking at the hotel?

You have two options. Discounted self-parking is available to overnight guests at Hynes Yard Carpark for €12 per 24 hours, using a validation voucher from reception. Or our concierge team can park your car for you: drive to the set-down area in front of the hotel and we’ll take it from there. Valet parking costs €35 per overnight stay. Ask at reception and we’ll sort either one out for you.

How do I get there by train or bus?

Galway’s train and bus station sits directly behind The Hardiman, and our back door opens onto it. Let us know your arrival time in advance and you can walk in straight off the platform. If you have a few hours between check-out and your departure, our team is happy to store your luggage.
