A Legacy of Style, Fun and Entertainment at The Hardiman for Race Week 2022

Celebrating its 170^th year anniversary this year the iconic Hardiman Hotel in Eyre Square is gearing up for a stylish and fun race week this year as the renowned Galway Races return to Ballybrit from Monday 25th of July to Sunday 31st of July.

The Hardiman’s ‘Legacy of Style’ Ladies Day Competition will  take place on Thursday July 28 from  6.30pm to 8.30pm. Stylish ladies are invited to the Hotel enjoy a complimentary glass of bubbles, and be in with a chance to win a fantastic stylish prize – a €1,500 voucher for Les Jumelles Boutique, a €1, 000 cash prize, plus a two night stay in a luxury Suite, Champagne on arrival,  followed by dinner for in Gaslight Restaurant for two on one evening. Second prize is a Magnum of Taittinger Champagne and for the social set there are great prizes from some of Galway’s best including a stunning Kate headband from Emily Jean Atelier and Micil Gin and Micil Connemara Cream Liqueur for ‘Best Instagram Post’ on the night.

The judges on the evening include two of Galway’s fashion stalwarts, sisters Mary McSweeney and Margaret Gallagher of Les Jumelles boutique on Chapel Lane, sponsors of the main prize. The judging line-up also includes fashion editor Bairbre Power who has judged Ladies Day both at Ballybrit and at evening style events in the city.

The Hardiman will be at the heart of Race Week entertainment in the city with its iconic Afternoon Tea available to book each day from 1pm to 5pm and both the Gaslight and Oyster Bar will be open each day of Race Week for lunch and dinner.
