I found my gem in Ireland. Love this hotel. I have stayed in several hotels all over Ireland and this has to be on the top of my list from quality of rooms to the staff. High compliments to management and staff. This will definitely be a must to visit during my trips to Ireland. I cannot wait to return for my next stay.

We have been coming here for ten years! Love, love, love the place, rooms are all great! Canadian hot tub is to die for! All the staff are so helpful and friendly we wouldn't have our anniversary anywhere else!

We had an amazing anniversary weekend this weekend! I adore the hotel, the rooms and the view of the squares Christmas market really was gorgeous. But the main thing that stood out were the staff, it was extremely busy yet anytime we needed anything it was never a problem, they were really helpful and friendly. The food at breakfast and dinner was delicious! We really had an amazing stay!
" 5 Star Excellence "
I stayed at your Hotel from 17th March until 19th March and all I can say is 5 star excellence! I was so impressed with everything from the Staff to the cleanliness of the Hotel. I would highly recommend The Hardiman to anyone going to Galway city. Staff were excellent very friendly, accommodating and super-efficient, food amazing, decor beautiful, cleanliness was 100%. I could not fault it. I have stayed in many Hotels around Ireland and The Hardiman has to be one of the best I have ever stayed in.

Myself and the girls had a fabulous weekend at the Meyrick. The staff were exceptionally helpful. The food in the restaurant was flawless. The massage in the spa was the best I've ever had thanks to Niamh. The outdoor hot tub was brilliant. An all round wonderful place to stay and perfect location. I can't wait to go back
"An Amazing Place to stay"
OMcKeown, (Dublin, Ireland) [Tripadvisor]
I stayed here for one midweek night. The reception was friendly and helpful though when I asked about parking and had to pay €5 and hand over my car keys I was surprised (I'm not used to someone else parking my car, and I did not know where they were taking it).
That said the room was spacious and comfortable with plenty of light, seating and storage for my overnight bag and suit.
There was a nice restaurant in the Hotel but I choose to eat elsewhere so I could get out for a walk. The Hotel is situated onto Eyre Square in the centre of Galway City. Breakfast was the usual continental or full Irish but I did see other guests ordering from a menu and there was a chef in the kitchen.
All up I will stay here again in the future.
"Old- Fashioned Comfort"

The Meyrick is an old-fashioned, warm, friendly hotel with comfortable beds and great staff. The standard of cleanliness is excellent and the staff are very welcoming. We had a suite, which was very large, with a well-appointed bathroom with a bath and a separate shower. This was our second visit and we'll be back. Nice artwork too.

Stayed at the Meyrick Hotel Galway last weekend with my better half, and it was just a real treat. The hotel is fairly old. Built in 1852. You can feel the nostalgia the moment you step inside the front door.
The staff are just excellent and make you feel at home right away.
The room we were given was a junior suite. It was just wonderful, and looking out over Eyre Square. We had a few drinks in the No.15 bar. The breakfast was great and the evening meal was of a very high standard. We availed of the jacuzzi and steam room for relaxation and watched the sun go down while using the outdoor hot tub. The following day we had a hot stone massage. Just great and looking forward to our next stay.

We are from Colorado, US. Our stay here in Jan was fabulous. The Meyrick is in a perfect spot. Walking distance from everything. Rooms are nice. Water pressure is good and hot. Orla was so nice and helpful. Can't wait to come back

Absolutely fantastic stay in this beautiful city-Centre hotel that perfectly balances the modern with tradition. All staff were brilliant, but Kevin in No 15 restaurant really stood out - his service was spot-on and it really made the experience for us - thanks

Staff at hotel made the occasion! They upgraded mum to the presidential suite and throughout dinner insured she felt it was her evening. Fabulous location and views over square and surrounding city. Very relaxing.
“The perfect hotel in a perfect location.”
Upon arrival discovered that we had been upgraded to an executive suite. Wow. Fabulous room with ample room for all the family. I have two daughters and had booked a regular suite. The staff were curteous, efficient and friendly. The atmosphere was calm and soothing. Food was delicious. All in all I would recommend this hotel highly. I most definitely will be returning here again.
“Gorgeous old style hotel in the perfect location ”
Really enjoyed our stay, perfectly placed hotel in the centre of everything. We stayed in a junior suite , which was huge, spotless and had a great view. The breakfast was really really nice and the staff were friendly.
“Enjoyable two night Christmas Markets break”
We stayed two nights here on a Christmas Market special. We had an executive room over looking Eyre Square and the Christmas markets. The room was fabulous, The food in the restaurant was beautiful and we had lunch in the parlor which was also great. Had a wonderful treatment in the Spa and enjoyed the views from the Outdoor Canadian Hot Tub. Lovely hotel very friendly staff Would definitely stay here again.
"Pamper me package!"

Stayed in the Meyrick Hotel for a catch up weekend with a very dear friend of mine I hadn't seen in 14 years. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We decided to treat ourselves to the 2nts b&b, 1 Dinner and spa treatment Pamper Me package and really loved this experience. We both chose a hot stone back massage so after relaxing in the hot tub we were in for a real treat and felt really relaxed afterwards. We had an amazing lunch in the Gaslight Brasserie and were booked in for an evening meal in No15 the Square which was absolutely delicious. The staff and reception, in the Brasserie and in the No15 the Square couldn't have been anymore helpful, friendly or attentive. We were made feel really special which was perfect for our girlie weekend catch up. The hotel room, a standard twin room, was lovely, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The ideal hotel for a relaxed and luxurious get together.
